Trip Planner Improvements, COMING SOON!

Hi Folks,

As you may know, we have listened to you and have been planning changes for some time.

See a list of our improvements and additions below along with a few screenshots:

1) Better-looking layout with trip duration display.

2) List move function throughout the app

3) Addition of 'Itinerary' add-in

4) Itinerary Add-In

The Itinerary add-in uses the dates you previously selected for your trip to give you an intimate calender function applicable to the time you are away. This was a popular request due to the fact that the standard calender on your mobile device feels a little "impersonal" and takes away from the feel of being away from your day-to-day life.

Trip Planner Updates and Two New Apps Coming Soon

The Trip Planner app rebuild is officially underway. We are making improvements as regards the layout and functionality of the app as well as adding the much-requested Itinerary add-in.

Once finished. Both the in-app purchases will be made as stand-alone apps as well for two reasons:

1) Because both apps are extremely useful on their own and have uses not always relevant to what Trip Planner offers.

2) So users that wish to use these features don't have to purchase Trip Planner if they feel it wouldn't be a viable use of their hard-earned money.

The Travel Details add-in will be keeping its name as an app, while the Itinerary add-in will be rebranded as 'MYtinerary'.

We will be expecting launch of all new add-in's, apps, and features before the end of the month.

Revised Mission Statement

Take the worry out of planning your trip by organising everything in one place - The whole of your trip in the palm of your hand.

Trip Planner the app helps you prepare for any holiday, vacation, or general trip by giving you options to monitor your savings for a given trip and by allowing you to add luggage items (along with their weight allowance). You can then proceed to add items you wish to pack and them tick them off as you pack/obtain them.

There are also some more open features that let you add your own to do list and notes in relation to how you choose to plan your trip.

Most other apps allow planning of things such as transportation and pre-purchasing of all kinds of tickets, etc; but i saw a need for the preperation of the very fundamentals of a trip. These fundamentals are covered in other individual apps, but not in one place and not with your trip in mind.

Trip Planner was born out of my own planning frustrations and I seek to aid those who share my issues. That said, my eventual aim is to generate revenue to grow the features of the app so that I can make the main features permanently free and offer more and more paid ones to those who feel what they are about to buy will benefit their type of trip.

I sincerely hope I have built something that aids what should be a pleasurable, memory filled part of your calendar.

Trip Details Issue

Users maybe having issues adding flight numbers on the 'Return' part of the 'Trip Details' section. This will be sorted soon.

V 1.3 - Bug Fixed

After adding the first update, there were a couple of issues with the app crashing for people who updated from version 1.

We'd like to apologize for the inconvenience and have tested thoroughly among several users to ensure that the crash is fixed.

App Improvements

After further work, improvements are due in the next few days. These include:

·         Reduction of unnecessary spotlight guides in order to avoid overkill as regards a smooth user experience.

·         Relocation of certain buttons which have proved more difficult for people using iPad or anything older than iPhone 5.

·         Addition of new separately downloadable ‘Trip Details’ section. This section allows for easy access to flight and accommodation details.
